I am exceedingly anxious that this Union, the Constitution, and the liberties of the people shall be perpetuated in accordance with the original idea for which that struggle was made, and I shall be most happy indeed if I shall be an humble instrument in the hands of the Almighty, and of this, his almost chosen people, for perpetuating the object of that great struggle.

Abraham Lincoln

Speech to the New Jersey Senate

Our greatest happiness does not depend on the condition of life in which chance has placed us, but is always the result of a good conscience, good health, occupation, and freedom in all just pursuits.

Thomas Jefferson

Mission Statement

Our vision is to restore America to its proper role in the world as a Champion for Freedom and Liberty. To accomplish this we must revitalize the American Spirit that created our nation. We must return to the fundamental principles and values of our founding fathers and we must return our government to within the confines of the US Constitution.

The impetus for the Tea Party movement is excessive government spending and taxation. Our mission is to attract, educate, organize, and mobilize our fellow citizens to secure public policy consistent with our three core values of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and Free Markets.

Core Values

  • Fiscal Responsibility
  • Constitutionally Limited Government
  • Free Markets

We believe in:

Constitutional Authority – The fundamental role of government is the maintenance of basic security and public order. This role is defined by the Preamble of the US Constitution; Justice, Defense, Public Order, and Secure Liberty. Furthermore we must never forget that the purpose of the constitution was to restrain government while providing for the maximum opportunity for freedom of its citizens.

That government’s goal is to create equal opportunity and not equal success.

Less Government – When government expands in size, it does so at the sacrifice of the Freedom and Liberty of its citizens. Therefore any increase in the size and reach of government authority is not in the best interests of its citizens.

Less Taxes – The only way to restrain the size of government is by limiting the funds that sustain it. We must remember that our wealth is gained by trading our freedom for it, by either working or investing in our future. Therefore we must be resistant to any increase in fees or taxes that fall outside the necessary functions of government

Fiscal Responsibility – Government’s management of our financial resources demonstrates the respect government has for its citizens who fund it. The government should never compete against the private sector and out sourcing should be used whenever possible. Before approving any spending three essential questions should be answered; what is the purpose, what is the intended result, and how will success and failure be measured?

EDUCATE – We’ll provide training on organizing techniques such as mass communication using social media, as well as topics such as how to effectively write / contact elected officials and how to report on local government meetings. We’ll keep you constantly updated on progress on our issues both locally and across the country.
INFORM – We’ll prepare NEATP to clearly and concisely communicate details about all our Core Beliefs.
MEMBERSHIP – We must grow the ranks of our Northeast Arkansas friends to levels that ensure our voice is heard. We have many opportunities for you to help — don’t just sit at home yelling at your TV!
Together, we will change our future and our children’s future, and restore America to its constitutional roots.
If you believe we live in the great-est, most blessed country in the world but that we are headed down the wrong road for our fu-ture freedoms, We Need YOU!
